This week I am bringing you a STAPLE piece that every girl and guy needs in their closet.  The basic denim shirt. Black Maxi Fashion My Way

I am becoming some what obsessed with Vanessa Hudgens style lately.  She has turned into this modern hippie, which I can thoroughly relate too!  This is Vanessa wearing a Birkin open knit black maxi skirt at Coachella this year. 

I have put my own day side wearable spin on it, my open knit black maxi skirt is kept southwestern chic with a denim shirt and a crochet cream tank with a rust colored tank paired back to it, do not forget the turquoise jewelry!!

TRENDING - Beautiful Backs

Beautiful back deatils are what is trending right now.  From open back, to peek-a-boo back details, to simple chiffon slits, it is something unexpected and something extremely hot right now, and it can really dress up an outfit. Most tops such as these shown need little to no jewelry as they speak enough on their own.

My Pastel...

My version!!  I love love love lavender, so this was the pastel color I picked.  I also love Mint, Pink as well as Turquoise.  Its a bit silver, a bit grey, and a bit lavender.  So happy with the outcome!  Thanks to Danielle my hair stylist for being into anything I request.

Pastel Hair

I am still on this pastel hair trend, I actually will most likely be until the end of summer.  It was such a big trend s/s 2012 in New York Fashion week, and I would love to see more people play with color like this.  It is not punk or 15 year old girl, If done in a proper way it can be quite wonderful.



Josh All Buttoned Up

Here are some of my faves all wrapped up into one!  Buttoned up men's plaid, paired with a belted jean, and a wonderful sweater.  A great way to transition into spring.

All Buttoned Up

Mens style can be quite hard to show as many guys appreciate a very low key look, something I am falling in love with for men are shirts buttoned completely to the top, as well as a tucked in shirt into a belted bottom.  The bottom looks are from Burberry pre-fall 2012.

Tasha is wearing this look extremely well, she has paired her denim shirt back to a nice summer hue of butter yellow.  The aztec necklace and fur vest really pulls it into a new direction.  Love this look!

This trend is one I am holding onto for summer, Aztec prints!  I love this Aztec suit by Paul & Joe , the above picture is a runway look showing how to wear fur in the summer and I love that they paired the idea of summer prints with fur winter trends.

This is my sisters fave look.  She has many I should say but this is a staple style she always falls back to, as do many young and old fashion plates.
