Josh All Buttoned Up

Here are some of my faves all wrapped up into one!  Buttoned up men's plaid, paired with a belted jean, and a wonderful sweater.  A great way to transition into spring.

All Buttoned Up

Mens style can be quite hard to show as many guys appreciate a very low key look, something I am falling in love with for men are shirts buttoned completely to the top, as well as a tucked in shirt into a belted bottom.  The bottom looks are from Burberry pre-fall 2012.

Tasha is wearing this look extremely well, she has paired her denim shirt back to a nice summer hue of butter yellow.  The aztec necklace and fur vest really pulls it into a new direction.  Love this look!

This trend is one I am holding onto for summer, Aztec prints!  I love this Aztec suit by Paul & Joe , the above picture is a runway look showing how to wear fur in the summer and I love that they paired the idea of summer prints with fur winter trends.

This is my sisters fave look.  She has many I should say but this is a staple style she always falls back to, as do many young and old fashion plates.

My High Waisted...

Street side in my neighborhood in Chicago.  I give the high waisted denim trend a grungy look.

High Waisted....

High waisted denim shorts is a summer trend that was catching on last year but I am in full support of it this year!!  Check out these amazing looks!

Ombre nails is another fun spring trend, that can be easily replicated at home.  No need to go out and spend a lot of money on perfect shades.  Most girls buy similar colors by nature.  Just open your cabinet and pull out your nail polish and I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised by the shades you own!  You can achieve this look with any color.  Girls who like brights or more natural colors can do this ombre look.  Have fun and be creative!

Fun with color, I was inspired by the pastel hair trend right now.  Keeping with my Bohemian vibe, I wanted to just add a few areas of the pastel pink through out my natural hair. My sister helped dye my hair and it was definitely the first time I have ever done my hair at home, with out the help of an actual licensed hair stylist.... So needless to say I was a little worried.  It turned out great and part of the hippie spirit is keeping an open mind, and from what I saw on the runways this year there was no definite precise way of doing it.  Messy is key.  I love it and will continue to try other colors...so stay tuned!

Pastel Hair is everywhere right now!  What used to be considered a rebellious punk like thing to do is now pushing the trends down the most cutting edge runway shows. At New York's Fashion Week it was all anyone could write about.  So this is something that done right can feel very trend savvy instead of 15 year old rebel who dyes there hair with every fight she gets into with her mom, :-)

Style Encounters on an Elevator.....

This look is for all of you who feel an inner edgy side.  Anyone can achieve this look even if you feel it is not to your taste.  This look again brings in the high low or mullet trend.  This burn out, acid wash, high low maxi dress brings in many, many fashionable elements but in a tasteful way.  The leather jacket brings the rock side into things and the ankle boots really give it the edgy vibe it needs.

I am obsessed with this look and encourage every one to try it!!

Boho street style, tie dye done in today's fashion, and feathers done the right way as a necklace.  Feathers can go so wrong so fast.  I would stay away from anything feathers, except when it comes to bags or this necklace. The layered turquoise necklaces push this boho look further into an indie era. From Left,

A fun play on girly hipster.  This bowler hat puts the outfit into overdrive!  Matching your belt back to your hat is always the best move to really draw the eye to the specific accessories.

Chic style, keeping it clean, and simple.  Bold lines paired back to a denim jacket make this look attainable yet refreshing.

Hot trend of the season the chiffon high low or mullet style tunic.  This classic navy color brings this trendy and edgy item to a more sophisticated classic approach.  The tall riding boots also helps this look reach its prep style feel.

Hello fashionable, broke friends!  The name Chapter 11 Fashion was created by my wonderful sister, Kate to whom I am forever indebted.  This blog was developed for two main reasons.
